Luis Antonio Mota, México

“I chose this university because at a Latin-American level, Chile has one of the first places in technological development and also because this university has an agreement with mine. I also chose Temuco because is a small city and it’s very easy to get adapted, also because I want to know part of the Chilean culture, live new experiences and make friends. My expectations here are learning more and also share what I know and learn from others what they know to take new experiences to Mexico.”

Ivonne Lopez, Yasmina Lopez, Claudia Ordorica y Cristabel Canedo, México

Social Work in Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa

“Being at the Universidad de la Frontera was a unique and enriching experience at a personal and professional level that we would live again for sure if it were possible. We can say that living in Temuco was a dream came true, we learnt a lot of things, not only of the career we are studying, but also about everyday life in this beautiful place. We saw its amazing landscapes and we met incredible people that became a very important part in this experience and that will stay forever in our memories.”

Verena Koch, Alemania

“ I hope to know about the social reality of this district. That’s why I am organizing myself to be able to have some practical hours out of the academy. I chose the UFRO for its program. The Social work career program has a work focus with communities in the social context of the Región de la Araucanía and that’s what caught my attention in the first place.”

I hope this will be an experience for my life in an academic and personal way”
